Wellspring was given the opportunity to ‘Look in on Farm Africa’ with an outsider’s lens, having been given access to its projects, managers, funders and partners in Africa.
We carried out detailed reviews on seven Farm Africa programmes across East Africa. Based on analysis of these projects, the wider market and interviews with Farm Africa’s key stakeholders, the report outlined opportunities for Farm Africa to position itself as a key service provider linking key food offtaker markets to smallholder farmers and recommended key strategic actions required to realise the opportunity at scale.
