Melanie has over 20 years of Finance experience gained in both Public and Private Organisations.
This includes working as a Management Accountant in large Financial organisations such as Deloitte and Zurich as well as The Open University and WD-40. These roles were fundamental in Melanie gaining experience in various functions including; Inventory management at WD-40, the Learning and Teaching Solutions department at The Open University which included the monitoring of projects including public funded contracts. And at Deloitte she worked as a Management accountant to the Marketing function (she was involved in the forecasting and monitoring of the Deloitte professional services sponsorship of the Olympic games 2012).
However, she then spent ten years at a family run business called White and Company which honed her skills of setting up Finance processes, new financial operating systems and running all the finance function.
She gained a BA Hons in English and Religious Studies at the University of Gloucestershire and then undertook several financial qualifications and is ACCA (part Qualified).
